What does a business with this mark meet?
- An up-to-date self-check system. The HACCP plan is in place, tailored to the business and kept up to date.
- Allergen management. Allergens are mapped and correctly communicated to guests.
- A cleaning plan that is followed. There is a cleaning plan with clear tasks and frequencies, and the records are kept.
- Instructed staff. Staff know the hygiene rules and the procedures of the business.
- Checked by Opti-Scan Consult. A consultant from Opti-Scan Consult assessed the situation on site using a fixed checklist.
How long is the mark valid?
The mark is awarded for a limited period, usually one year, and then checked again. The business can show you the validity date on its certificate.
